For our film idea we wanted to be able to zoom in on the eye of one character then switch to the eye of the main character to zoom out on. We hoped that the shot would be able to go right into the pupil to make it look black before zooming out of the blackness to the main characters eye. To see if this would work we first tested it before filming. We found that with the camera we were using we would not be able to zoom in on a single eye without the quality of the shot becoming blurred. To work around this we decided it would be best to zoom in on both eyes of the first character and then switch to a shot of the main characters eyes to zoom out on. We found that this worked, as it was no longer giving a blurred shot but think that if we had been able to use or original idea it would have worked better.
